A big thank you to the Warwick Town Community Forum and the National Lottery which provided funds to help remove the fallen willow and add the top dressing to the all persons path!

News during July 2019
Myton Pool was awarded its 10th Community Green Flag Award on Thursday 18th July 2019 at the ceremony in Northampton!
Our tenth anniversary working party, barbecue and live music event was a great success thanks to you! It was wonderful to have lots of new and not so new faces at our community working party last Saturday 14th July. Myton Pool’s seasonal maintenance is solely achieved through local volunteers so your support is greatly appreciated. The edges of the paths were strimmed and cleared, and over-enthusiastic foliage trimmed back to ensure that the pool area is accessible for all.
We will be holding our next working party towards the end of Summer / beginning of Autumn. Watch this space for more details.
After all the recent rain, foliage at the Pool has certainly benefited! An impromptu cut back by neighbours at the end of June has helped clear the paths once more. BUT… more help is needed. FROMP needs YOU!
Did you know that all of the general maintenance at Myton Pool is carried out by neighbour volunteers? And our pool of regular volunteers is becoming smaller. We are holding our next Working Party on Sat 13th July at 2pm. Come along with secateurs, gloves, a rake. No gardening experience necessary!
News during May
What a magnificent day was had on Sunday 19th May when we welcomed the guided walk visitors from Foundry Wood to Myton Pool! We learned much about the history of the area between Foundry Wood and Myton Pool and enjoyed some homemade cake and coffee. Thank you to all those who helped set up and provide refreshments on the day. And a special thank you to Martin and Heather Haslett who led the guided walk.
