A big thank you to the Warwick Town Community Forum and the National Lottery which provided funds to help remove the fallen willow and add the top dressing to the all persons path!

We have had to cancel our working party of 28th March  due to the government guidance around Covid-19.

Remember the Pool is still open and can be used for daily exercise. Please also remember dogs should be kept on a lead at all times.

Thank you to all who contributed unwanted nest boxes (and an owl box!) These have been erected on suitable trees around the pool by neighbour volunteers.

Our Winter Solstice Celebration on Friday 20th December was a huge success despite the heavy rain throughout the day.  Thankfully the rain stopped completely, just in time for the celebration.  Gluhvein, mince pies and seasonal music brightened up a cold December evening.

Our scarecrow making competition on 8th September was a huge success! A big thank you to all those who made a scarecrow and also those who came to see them on display!

Here are a few of the offerings… from Where’s Wally to an Austrian hiker …

Our tenth anniversary working party, barbecue and live music event was a great success thanks to you!  It was wonderful to have lots of new and not so new faces at our community working party on Saturday 14th July.

Myton Pool’s seasonal maintenance is solely achieved through local volunteers so your support is greatly appreciated.  The edges of the paths were strimmed and cleared, and over-enthusiastic foliage trimmed back to ensure that the pool area is accessible for all.

What a magnificent day was had on Sunday 19th May when we welcomed the guided walk visitors from Foundry Wood to Myton Pool!  We learned much about the history of the area between Foundry Wood and Myton Pool and enjoyed some homemade cake and coffee.  Thank you to all those who helped set up and provide refreshments on the day. And a special thank you to Martin and Heather Haslett who led the guided walk.
