FROMP would like to thank the Heart of England Foundation and Big Lottery Fund for recent grants enabling tree maintenance to take place.
We are a group of neighbours committed to the renovation and environmental regeneration of Myton Pool in Warwick, U.K. The area is all that remains of the formal Victorian gardens of the former Myton Grange.
Myton Pool was awarded its 10th Community Green Flag Award on Thursday 18th July 2019 at the ceremony in Northampton!

Friends of Myton Pool Trust would like to thank you for bringing joy and light to Myton Pool during the festive season and Winter months.
Thank you to all who decorated stones with a festive theme and placed them at the pool. We loved seeing the hand-made natural decorations placed on the trees and the lights that supporters decorated the green space with.
The 11th Community Green Flag Award for Myton Pool was awarded in October 2020. Thank you to all our volunteers who have helped keep the Pool tidy and maintained during the Covid-19 restrictions.
Regrettably we had to postpone our Summer Solstice joint event with Foundry Wood which was due to take place in June due to the government guidance around Covid-19. We hope to be able to hold this event at a later date.
Remember the Pool is still open and can be used for exercise. Please also remember dogs should be kept on a lead at all times.
Thank you to all who contributed nest boxes (and an owl box!) These have been erected on suitable trees around the pool by neighbour volunteers.
Our scarecrow making competition on 8th September 2019 was a huge success! A big thank you to all those who made a scarecrow and also those who came to see them on display!
Here are a few of the offerings… from Where’s Wally to an Austrian hiker …
Our tenth anniversary working party, barbecue and live music event was a great success thanks to you! It was wonderful to have lots of new and not so new faces at our community working party on Saturday 14th July 2019.
Myton Pool’s seasonal maintenance is solely achieved through local volunteers so your support is greatly appreciated. The edges of the paths were strimmed and cleared, and over-enthusiastic foliage trimmed back to ensure that the pool area is accessible for all.
What a magnificent day was had on Sunday 19th May 2019 when we welcomed the guided walk visitors from Foundry Wood to Myton Pool! We learned much about the history of the area between Foundry Wood and Myton Pool and enjoyed some homemade cake and coffee. Thank you to all those who helped set up and provide refreshments on the day. And a special thank you to Martin and Heather Haslett who led the guided walk.
